Relaxation for artists

The profession of artist is described by many as sometimes challenging and lonely, but it can also be collective and social. Come to Konsthall C on Wednesdays for joint relaxation together with our neighbors Hökis HOPE. All wellness care is free and you book your place by emailing info@konsthallc.se
We offer fruit and a viewing of our current exhibition after the session.
Hökis HOPE is run by Eva, Ida and Irini they met in a common desire to create a place in Hökarängen for well-being, healing and creative expression. In September 2022, they opened the culture and health studio Hökis HOPE opposite Konsthall C, where they offer, among other things, yoga, dance, breathwork, singing and voice therapy. The different orientations complement each other all having a common thread in the somatic. In their joint presentation, they write:
"We believe in the body's inherent wisdom and whether it's yoga, creative singing or breathwork, we start from actively listening to what our bodies need and long for. It's when we relax the body, slow down and listen that we has the ability to connect with a creativity and healing that goes beyond thought and control. A well-being that is sustainable."
Konsthall C would like to participate and support the self-organization of an inclusive artist network in Hökarängen, and this project is part of that ambition.

Briefly about the different passports:
Creative Voice with Ida Lod
Experience the creative and healing power of the voice! The group will work dynamically with basic voice and singing training in combination with a creative exploration of the voice. Ida creates a safe room and guides the group through various exercises that are both activating and relaxing. The intention is to strengthen our authentic voice and well-being from the inside out. No prior knowledge required!
Yogansa Flow with Irini Dougias Andersson
Hatha Yoga meets liberating dance! An energetic class where you build strength and mobility and also get to enjoy moving freely to music. You are guided through all the steps and do not need prior knowledge of either yoga or dance to be able to participate. The pass also includes meditation and pranayama = breathing exercises.
Breathwork with Eva Elfström
In a safe and secure space, you get a chance to deepen contact with your body and release deeply stored tensions through the six elements of the Biodynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release System (BBTRS). This is a powerful yet gentle system for transforming pain and increasing your energy flow.
